Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How are your kitchen and bath cabinets different than other home remodeling companies?

A: Our exclusive Made in Marin cabinetry, manufactured locally, is a high quality product. Our cabinets are made with top-grade plywood for lasting durability and strength; and exterior doors are made with attractive hardwood: maple, cherry or oak.

Q: What Green Building Practices Do You Use?

A: Among others things, we sometimes reuse parts of a pre-existing structures, which may blend more naturally with a new design. We use low VOC paints and formaldehyde-free adhesives in the production of our Made in Marin cabinets. The formaldehyde used in manufacturing kitchen and bath cabinets emits harmful gases, impacting indoor air quality and creating potential health risks.

Q: Can you say more about your intelligent design-build approach, specifically how it can save time and money?

A: We break design intelligence into three areas:

  • Intelligent Awareness –We reuse materials and structures that are already there. There is often no need to demolish an entire room before you rebuild. Plus, the cost of new materials adds up.
  • Intelligent Thinking – As a licensed contractor for 23 years, Paul knows how to quickly assess what design ideas work—and which ones do not. Costly mistakes are therefore eliminated.
  • Intelligent Conversation – We listen and include yours ideas in the design process. We work hard, but smart, often thinking a few steps ahead to insure efficient use of time, labor and materials. The final result?  A beautifully renovated home that is finished on-time and on-budget.
